Wait a minute, I'm calling bullshit. You mean to tell me that the Earth warmed without industrialized man? You're crazy Gil.

Even the most hysterical climate change predictions haven't gone that fully retard

We'll be terraforming Mars before we see a 60 meter rise
60 meters isn't that unrealistic. And there may already be large populations on Mars when/if we see a 60 meter rise in sea level. If it happens, it will be over hundreds or thousands of years. The sea level is 5-8 inches higher than it was in 1900, and it's over 400 feet higher than it was about 20,000 years ago.

Of course sea levels have fluctuated more than 60 meters over the history of the planet

But talking about a 60 meter rise is a 1000 year conversation - not one for our lifetimes

But in spite of the silly alarmist graphics he is right about one thing - humans are warming the planet...

we do not know what the actual effects will be, and whatever they are, we will suffer them in full force no matter what we do

Problem with that movie is that there have been times on Earth when there were no polar ice caps but there was plenty of land. Like during the Triassic Period (https://www.livescience.com/43295-triassic-period.html).

I like that chick's "not too much, not too little" cleavage though.

I just want to know who drew that map that John cites with such certainty?

You can look up a bunch of maps from different sources of what the earth is believed to have looked like during the Triassic when there were no ice caps. Same basic picture. There was plenty of land area.

His map shows the world before plate tectonics separated the continents.

Yes, I'm aware. But it's drawn and cited with such CERTAINTY, just wondering who was here to draw it?

There's a us geologic survey plate on the side of the building I used to work at in downtown Albany, NY. It was something like 16' above sea level. 60 meters would be way more water than that map is showing.
