I appreciate all types of comedy and “cheap, over-the-top, physical” has its place. :coffee:

I’ve never listened to the Goon Show, but I loved Sellers in the Pink Panther movies. In fact, I’ve renamed our boxer Cato due to her penchant for lying in wait for me and then flying out of nowhere to attack. :coffee: :coffee:
I recommend his earlier work, like Lavender Hill Mob and The Man in the White Suit.

As for American comics, I like George Gobel, Bob Newhart, the early George Carlin, Joan Rivers, and Rodney Dangerfield.

The latest episode was bad for GA state representative Jason Spencer. I can't find quality clips, but here's someone's Twitter account with some of them:
