Brian Kemp DESTROYED Casey Cagle yesterday in the Georgia Conk runoff.

Kemp 406,638 - 69.45%
Cagle 178,877 - 30.55%

FWIW, Cagle got 60,000 less votes in the runoff than he did in the primary.

It will be Kemp vs. Stacey Abrams in the General in November. Georgia will be THE governors race everyone will be watching in November.

Donks and their billionaire donors will be pouring millions and millions of outside dollars into the Abrams campaign.

I've been trying to tell the local donks but they aren't having any. I'm afraid they may double down on the "you have to vote for us because we aren't quite as filthy as their guy" strategy.

How they treat her is going to be a long-term indicator of the Democratic Party's ability to compete again in elections. Support of the donks for this fall is broad but of questionable depth.

The rest of Georgia finally got to see exactly what some of us already knew. Cagle is an establishment say anything, do anything to get elected corrupt POS. The Abrams campaign already had a dossier full of #metoo campaign material just waiting to be released.

Kemp is a level headed seasoned statewide elected official who has done an amazing job as Secretary of State.

Other than Hogan in MD, a sitting Republican governor, up against a complete socialist in Ben Jealous. But keep thinking the world revolves around Georgia.

The wackadoodles here in Georgia are doing the same thing. Abrams is a single black 44 year old female. Never been married, so she's prolly a lesbian too.

Lots of these nutjobs think she will win. She is articulate, but she is a neo-Marxist radical.
Game over.

Sarsour? Seriously? Plaster that Muzzie nutjob’s mug all over Georgia TV until November.

My bet is that she will lose. But I've seen her speaking and she's good. I would not be absolutely shocked if she wins because she really IS very good. She's got "It."

Yeah why anyone running would embrace someone that wants to subjugate women to Sharia Law is beyond me...
...that said the average voter probably has no idea that is exactly what Sarsour is about.

Not many people noticed, even in Delaware, but the First State held its primaries yesterday. A few takeaways.

The doddering career politician, Senator Tom Carper, easily survived a challenge by a black lesbian Ocasio-Cortez type. He beat her by about 30 points, although the underdog got a lot of free press and the support of our local hapless Trips.

On the GOP side, the Senate primary featured another gay vs. straight contest, with the straight guy prevailing big time. The result surprised my wife and me: the News Urinal endorsed the gay guy, Gene Truono, who had strong Second Amendment cred and was a more traditional conservative, and we thought he would win it. Both of us supported Truono, who was a strong debater. The winner, Rob Arlett, is a Sussex County immigrant who hitched his wagon to Trump. Kind of a “shallow Hal” type who will be creamed by Carper in November.

And the most laughable result of the night was the victory in the GOP Congressional primary of former Donk Scott Walker, a guy with a history of substance abuse who finished fourth in the Dem primary two years ago and nails wooden campaign signs to tree trunks. Murphy, the losing candidate, is a part-time actor who barely campaigned. From the state that gave you Christine O’Donnell... :ohno:

A " self-declared neo-Nazi White Supremacist"? Well, I guess if wife beater and rapists can do well in the Democratic party, a racists can do well in the GOP.

Better, the GOP won't have any qualms about supporting such.

Got to see Carper at the Delaware football game today - he might be the oldest looking 71 year old I've ever seen. He looks 20 years older than that. He's a slowly-walking proof that we should consider term limits or age limits. Heck, I remember seeing Bill Roth, at ten years older than Carper now, and he looked livelier than Carper did. Both parties are just filled with feeble, old folks clinging on to positions of power, positions there is no way that they can credibly claim to be representing the best interests of the majority of their constituents. This is how we get congressional committees where folks like Carper are too old to even know how social media functions. Sad.
