They have their issues at this time. But unless something dramatically changes in the underlying trends, they are going to win in the end. They are going to win the war. A new opponent may arise. But right now the Republican Party is headed for the ash heap of history (as the cliche goes).

They can’t get factions aligned that agree on 90% of the issues. In the far left’s mind if you’re not 100% in alignment, you’re a fucking nazi. Demographics won’t mean shit unless they can all align.

Stop it, your ignorance of history and applying it to the future hurts my head sometimes. We've always had a political duopoly in this country and, barring some sweeping Constitutional changes (which won't happen because of the duopoly) we're going to always have a duopoly. Nobody "wins" and the duopoly never goes away. Names of the parties change over time, but that's it. There will always be two major parties and there will be ebbs and flows in terms of their success versus the other party. But there will always be a duopoly. People aren't going to stop disagreeing with each other anytime soon.

I saw that and it's what bothers me about the DNC at the national level. Upper echelon management is a complete shit show; they take the Peter Principle and magnify it to a whole new level.

But there's great groundwork being done all across the nation and that's more important for a political party. Ultimately the best work is done neighbor-to-neighbor, not through television ads or PACs.

Frankly, President Trump has been better at unifying the DNC than any Democrat "leader." They should make him an honorary member.
