That wasn't my point...
My point was that she appears to have thought about her decisions
and thus wasn't squarely in-line with conservative mantra

Whereas she could "win more favor" just by checking boxes
Read what you just said for a second time.

God bless you Hen, you make this fun

Any human that believes the entirety of any ideology so as to check every box
Is by definition not "thinking" they are simply responding to programming

There is no ideology so complete that it satisfies every contingency, circumstance and possibility
and it matters not which one you choose... Conservatism - Liberalism - Mormonism - Catholicism - etc. etc.

:notworthy:

Is there ANYONE here that believes the entirety of any ideology? IMO your "point" was specious at best.

Well it's not a fool proof way to determine if somebody is actually thinking
But it's usually a strong indicator

and you might be surprised by the number of posters on here that believe things in their entirety
Brainwashing and social programming are powerful tools

Example:
When I lived in Boston a buddy of mine when speaking of the Red Sox always said "we"
Like he was on the team...

Turns out his mob mentality or group think programming was so deeply-seated
That even when I would say
"Lou, you're not on the team... and furthermore nobody on the team gives a shit about your opinion"
he couldn't stop saying "we" in reference to the Red Sox

This type of "insanity" is deep... and actually kinda frightening

Nobody we take seriously.

BTW, I think people that take exception to a person using "we" when referring to their home sports team to the point of insulting a buddy are more frightening. Get over it. 8-)

Coming from you and your insistence that my stance on abortion has anything to do with my religion actually points to it being a very poor way of gauging somebody's level of "thinking" in many cases. Maybe it's just you using it incorrectly.

I don't take "exception" to it as much as I think it deserves a sanity check
Using "we" in reference to a sports franchise is a form of insanity...
The same kind of thinking that leads to extremely irrational and violent behavior

I totally get "loving the game"
and I totally get the confusion around what a home team is
Even though it's not uncommon for nobody to actually be from that town - even the owners sometimes

Example:
Mark Cuban is from Pittsburgh
and is about as far from being a "Texan" as any American could actually be
Nobody playing for the Dallas Mavericks is actually even from Dallas
and the team as a whole has more players from Germany on the roster than Texas

So lets recap...
Just who exactly is a fan referring to when they say "We" ..?
We, who and how..?
