Man this has gotten pretty silly...
The Accord was nothing more than a global hand shake and a wink
Ultimately it's meaningless other than purely symbolic

Trumps move is also symbolic

Both are just posturing
You're either pretending to be a team player - or not pretending

Even the folks that are mad about it admit its meaningless
Q: Name something that offends Republicans?
A: The actual teachings of Jesus

Guess the moral of the story is the that if you want a long lasting treaty, get it passed by Congress instead of trying to impose it alone.

Like I said: The biggest thing about this was the irony of Trump talking about people laughing at the United States when HIS ELECTION is the biggest reason people are laughing at the United States. Nothing that's happened in my lifetime has made the United States look as ridiculous as electing Trump did.

He has no credibility and because we elected him we have no credibility right now either. People have to deal carefully with us because of our power and influence built up before the disaster that was the 2016 election. But respecting us is not in the cards right now. No sane person in another country SHOULD respect us as rational people right now.

Right now the United States has a leader the rest of the world rightfully sees as an unstable, incompetent buffoon who has no idea as to what he is doing. And the United States electorate rightfully bears the scorn associated with creating that situation.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth

But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Truth. Reality. Sad reality. But reality. We turned in our "we are rational" card when we elected that absurdity as President.

It objectively was not. But I chose to respond with what it was without saying that. It was the truth.

Honestly, I hate to be insulting and I try to avoid personal attacks. But do you even know what a non sequitur is? It's kind of hard to think you do given you calling that post such.

John,
Nobody can disagree with your post up there
but that doesn't mean they want to hear it again for the 20th time

Frankly I like reading stuff like that about Trump
That way I don't have to say it

First of all, the "we are rational" argument went out the window a long fucking time ago.

And secondly, you see countries and their leaders reacting differently to Trump because for the first time in 8 years, we have somebody in the White House who is sucking Europe's collective dick on a daily basis.

It didn't work for the Dems after WW1. Maybe these things should have bi partisan support.

Don't you mean "isn't sucking"? :? Obama did a lot of Hoovering over there, because he thought he was one of those transnational types.

A feel good agreement that lets countries like China and India increase emissions while requiring the US to reduce their emissions. Great job of negotiating by Kerry and Obama! :dunce:
And even though we pulled out of the agreement we are reducing our emissions while India and China increase as I said would happen.

Venezuela is down only because the economy is in shambles, businesses and factories are closed, and people can’t afford food, never mind fuel...
