As to the intelligence documents, you bet that is why Concord is pushing that, so they force Mueller to withdraw presenting intelligence documents.
Like I said, this whole thing seems odd. On one hand, I can see Mueller wanting to notch a win by actually indicting Russians, but find it hard to believe he was this sloppy.

Well, it was fun while it lasted.
I look forward to the next theory.
I look forward to the next theory.
https://www.politico.com/story/2018/05/ ... fbi-615196President Donald Trump’s claim that the FBI embedded a spy in his campaign for political purposes began to crumble Wednesday after a prominent Republican, as well as defenders of the president, said he might have the story wrong.
In less than 24 hours, Trump’s allegations were publicly refuted by House Oversight Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), one of just nine lawmakers briefed on highly classified details of the FBI’s operation; Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano, a Trump favorite; and prominent legal scholar Alan Dershowitz, a vocal Trump ally who has advised the president on legal strategy.
Legal experts and Trump critics say the defections have exposed cracks in the president’s narrative and undermine his attempts to discredit the FBI investigation into Russian contacts with his campaign as a partisan, “deep state” attack on his presidential bid.
And notably, a slew of Trump's congressional allies who have been active purveyors of what the president dubbed “spygate” — including Reps. Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz and Lee Zeldin — were silent Wednesday. POLITICO reached out to a handful of these lawmakers and did not hear back. Only Rep. Mark Meadows had weighed in by late afternoon, suggesting the Justice Department couldn’t be trusted to explain away the controversy.

So you are buying the " we used a spy to protect Trump from Russia" narrative? Mmkay.Skjellyfetti wrote:Well, it was fun while it lasted.

Speaking of spies in political campaigns, here is a Glenn Greenwald (paging kalm) piece on the CIA using a spy in Carters campaign in 1980...ironically enough it involves the same guy in the Trump spy case. But no Deep State though right jellybelly?
https://theintercept.com/2018/05/19/the ... -election/Four decades ago, Halper was responsible for a long-forgotten spying scandal involving the 1980 election, in which the Reagan campaign – using CIA officials managed by Halper, reportedly under the direction of former CIA Director and then-Vice-Presidential candidate George H.W. Bush – got caught running a spying operation from inside the Carter administration. The plot involved CIA operatives passing classified information about Carter’s foreign policy to Reagan campaign officials in order to ensure the Reagan campaign knew of any foreign policy decisions that Carter was considering.

Imagine that The President that is commonly referred to as "dangerously uninformed"
knew so much he didn't need to be briefed

They were briefed in July 2016 that Russians would likely try to infiltrate their campaign. And it was recommended they report any suspicious contacts to the FBI. They didn't really take that to heart.SDHornet wrote:It is so usual that the FBI (Comey) didn't bother to brief the incoming President about it.Skjellyfetti wrote:

And, yeah - I'd assume it's probably pretty usual for them not to brief potential subjects or targets of the investigation about sources and methods being used in said investigation.

So if almost none of his stuff is privileged, how much, if any, can be dealing with Trump or stuff about Trump? Cohen's most likely a pretty bad dude who's done a lot of shady stuff - heck, he's a lawyer and a taxi cab mangate, I didn't even know there were such things.
