I don't support the NRA because the stuff they support is not reasonable in my mind. and example of that is thier opposition to outlawing armor piercing bullets. I don't think we have any need for those and it is a public safety issue. There is no need for that in regards to hunting, etc.

The NRA has also opposed every Wilderness bill that has been before congress. This, to me, is a totally anti-hunting stance as in my state of Wyoming, the finest big game hunt rely on those very wilderness areas to support game and for people to hunt in.

I own over 30 guns for hunting myself, but the NRA is not at all an advocate for my interests, in fact, they are contrary to many of my interests.

Rosie speaks for the Democratic Party? She is an elected Democrat? Sure, there are crazies on both sides, but to claim they represent the view of the party, or the majority of the members, is ludicris.
speaking of ludicris im sure hes a dem.

I don't think Rudy will cut it with the rank and file Republicans. The media will push him hard because they want badly to see a Rudy vs Hillary race for the presidency. I think they'll get half their wish with Hillary but I think the Republicans will end up with Fred Thompson. Rudy might end up with the VP nomination as a result of some back room deal making.

My guess is Hillary/Obama vs Thompson/Rudy with possibly Bloomberg jumping into the presidential race as a self-funded independent at the last possible moment - a present day Ross Perot-type candidate who wants his 15 seconds of fame and has the money to buy it. Maybe he'll choose Bill Gates as his running mate.

Apparently people who watch The View care.

LA Times Link
In the month since Rosie O'Donnell bolted from "The View," the ABC daytime chat fest is down an average of 232,000 viewers, a drop of 6%, according to Nielsen Media Research.

ET Online Link
Rosie's first day saw a more than 50 percent ratings bump over the corresponding date last year!

Why the cr@p are people pi$$ed about this, but nobody says a freaking word about how that tool Jim Gray essentially Pearl Harbored Pete Rose at the All Star Game several years ago? Whatever your feelings about Rose and his honesty, getting an interview via subterfuge certainly isn't the right thing to do.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
