I think thus has shifted somewhat away from being about stopping his confirmation, and towards damaging him so much that his decisions on the court are delegitimized - particularly decisions related to the War on WimminGannonFan wrote:That's the thing, I think this is rebounding against the Dems. The first accuser is certainly credible, but not likely to be enough to keep him from the bench. But the second accuser comes off as a contrived fabrication just to say there's a second accuser. And on top of that, you have the porn star's lawyer jumping in with more salacious claims, none of which sound true at all. The old guard like Feinstein have looked awful in this whole thing, and at the end of this Kavanaugh is still likely to be confirmed. There will have to be a lot more evidence before he's ever indicted for something in Maryland, and impeachment without a really damning criminal indictment is too much of a hurdle to consider it likely. If after all of this he's still confirmed the Dems will be pointing fingers at each other as to how this could've happened the way it did.css75 wrote:
He was a great choice. The Dims have been trying to destroy an innocent man, who has hundreds of women supporting him. Each day this charade goes on the GOP approval rating rise. This will come back to bite the libs in the arse.

Personally, I never liked the Kavanaugh pick - I would've gone with the woman out of Notre Dame. But she might be the next nominee.
