It literally says on the label that they don't stop Coronavirus so wearing one only makes you look like a goofball. N95 masks do a better job but still are not 100% effective. I don't need to be a doctor or epidemiologist to read a box telling me what doctors said to put on the label.
You don't wear it to stop the virus from coming in. You wear it to reduce the chance of it coming out and spreading to others... in case you have it but don't know it.

Pretty sure the label on condoms says they aren't 100% effective at stopping sperm but many a young kid has used them anyway. :coffee:

Pretty sure diapers don't prevent shit from getting on babies clothes, but it's better than not having one.

Can't believe anyone is arguing masks don't work 6 months into this thing.

We literally have data from the entire world that it works.

Hmmmm, who will I listen to? Bobcat from championshipsubdivision.com or...

...people who dedicated decades of education, hard-work, and research in their respective fields.

And oh yeah, actual real-world results.

Bobcat or the Mayo Clinc?

Can face masks help slow the spread of the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) that causes COVID-19? Yes, face masks combined with other preventive measures, such as frequent hand-washing and social distancing, help slow the spread of the virus.

Links to evidence proving masks do nothing?
There's lots of CDC and WHO reports out there that say exactly that. Google is your friend. In fact, they're ignoring their OWN research that says exactly that....because the mob has decided it needs a visible manifestation of the virus panic, and if you're not wearing a mask, you're just not taking it seriously enough.
No there isn't. Not with recent research Covid.

Masks absolutely work. And no Demons needed

No, you do it for both.

Masks reduce the chance of infection in both direction. The reduction is just greater in terms of an infected person spreading it.

Or, put a better way-

If you are 6 feet from an infected person who is shedding virus, and the person is wearing a mask... would you wear a mask yourself, or not?

Well, the guy was 80, so there’s that. I guess he was a perpetual student.

Probably had pre-existing conditions, too .

When you sneeze in a mask, you are saying it doesn't stop anything from getting into the air?
Do people actually sneeze into their mask and leave it on? The other day I saw someone in a store take their mask off to sneeze.
