You don't wear it to stop the virus from coming in. You wear it to reduce the chance of it coming out and spreading to others... in case you have it but don't know it.Bobcat wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 10:52 am How about you naysayers read the boxes the crummy paper masks come in? It literally says on the label that they don't stop Coronavirus so wearing one only makes you look like a goofball. N95 masks do a better job but still are not 100% effective. I don't need to be a doctor or epidemiologist to read a box telling me what doctors said to put on the label.

Pretty sure the label on condoms says they aren't 100% effective at stopping sperm but many a young kid has used them anyway.Bobcat wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 10:52 am How about you naysayers read the boxes the crummy paper masks come in? Can't believe anyone is arguing masks don't work 6 months into this thing.
We literally have data from the entire world that it works.

No there isn't. Not with recent research Covid.AZGrizFan wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 11:27 amThere's lots of CDC and WHO reports out there that say exactly that. Google is your friend. In fact, they're ignoring their OWN research that says exactly that....because the mob has decided it needs a visible manifestation of the virus panic, and if you're not wearing a mask, you're just not taking it seriously enough.
Masks absolutely work. And no Demons needed

Masks reduce the chance of infection in both direction. The reduction is just greater in terms of an infected person spreading it.

Or, put a better way-
If you are 6 feet from an infected person who is shedding virus, and the person is wearing a mask... would you wear a mask yourself, or not?

Do people actually sneeze into their mask and leave it on?
