How about you naysayers read the boxes the crummy paper masks come in? It literally says on the label that they don't stop Coronavirus so wearing one only makes you look like a goofball. N95 masks do a better job but still are not 100% effective. I don't need to be a doctor or epidemiologist to read a box telling me what doctors said to put on the label.

You don't wear it to stop the virus from coming in. You wear it to reduce the chance of it coming out and spreading to others... in case you have it but don't know it.

Pretty sure the label on condoms says they aren't 100% effective at stopping sperm but many a young kid has used them anyway.

Pretty sure condom packaging says it does not "prevent" the spread of STD or pregnancy. But I haven't bought one of those in 27 years, so...

Pretty sure diapers don't prevent shit from getting on babies clothes, but it's better than not having one.
