Welcome, President Obama....
Interesting choice. Complete unknown, small state, no experience.
Will southerners be enthused about a ticket that is completely west of the Rockies?
Female, so we are assured first ticket without two white males will win...
Already, she is under investigation in Alaska, and with the on-going corruption/bribery scandals ungulfing the entire Alaska congressional delegation, she will be easy to link to corruption.
McCain/Palin - The Ticket to Nowhere.

Jon, jon, jon. As the disenfranchised Hildabeast supporters flock to the McCain/Palin ticket in droves, I'll try not to say "I told you so". Can you honestly, with a straight face, actually throw the "no experience" tag out there? Seriously? Four years ago OBAMA was a complete unknown, and she's got more experience running a government than he has. And corruption? Bribery? Have you READ Obama's background and who HE'S linked to?dbackjon wrote:Welcome, President Obama....

The panic has already started to set in amongst the Dem sheeple....this is gonna be seriously fun to watch. Obama's bump from the convention was barely a ripple....it's all downhill from here for the socialist party, Jon.

McCain picks what is basically a small-town mayor to be VP???
Seriously, if the Dems had picked someone like that, you'd be harping on that all day.
Obama has a milion times the experience that this ticket to nowhere has.

Re: McCain choses VP
Read the wikipedia entry on her http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Palin (yes I know it's wikipedia so take it for what it's worth). If the stuff about fighting the corruption of the Republican party is true she should easily be able to fend off the crap the Democrats throw at her.
As a mayor and governor she has executive experience which is a lot more valuable than experience as a legislator IMO.
Two candidates from the west one of whom is an outdoors type vs. a black guy and a white yankee from the NE - I don't think there will be a problem down south.
The women that supported Hillary are going to flock to her like Bill Clinton to fat chicks.
Congratulations President John McCain!

Put her at the top of the ticket. I'd rather look at her for 4 years than any of the other three. Plus it would be great to watch Hillary's head explode at the inauguration because she wasn't first.AZGrizFan wrote:So, the only one with any REAL experience in this race IS Palin.MarkCCU wrote: Ditto for McCain.![]()

People people, I have heard Hillary's name butchered beyond belief in this thread and countless others.
I believe the proper way to address Hillary is to call her Hil-Dog.

Re: McCain choses VP
I don't see any woman worth her salt voting for her simply because she's a woman. I've seen a lot of them find it very patronizing. And by that patronization, it has cemented their decision to vote Obama/Binden.
The only other commentary I have is that she needs to ditch the glasses--they do nothing for her appearance. They are just too big for her face. She'd be a lot better looking (though looks don't really matter, do they?) if she had some smaller frames.

Wait a minute...I heard interview after interview with women during the primaries who said they were voting for HRC because they finally saw a chance to get a woman into the White House...Purple For Life wrote:I don't see any woman worth her salt voting for her simply because she's a woman. Was that patronization...or is it OK for Dems, but patronizing for Rep???

First off, she is A TOTAL HOTTIE! The glassess give that her that, "i'm the dirty librarian" look. Second, I know plenty, PLENTY of women in the Democratic party I belong to that, like the Col. said, wanted HRC moreso b/c she is a woman. He is hoping to utilize the "wow" factor, he wants to capture the women that feel disenfranchised.Purple For Life wrote:I don't see any woman worth her salt voting for her simply because she's a woman. Re: McCain choses VP
Her glasses are too big...got it. Since we're throwing out the caddy stupid bullshit as reasons not to like her then lets look at that shunt Hillary. She looks like she hasn't stepped away from a buffet in two months. Hillary needs a pair of glasses that would cover her entire ugly fucking lying face. This woman's fuckability factor is off the charts compared to this shunt that is known as Hillary. Every single woman that I have talked to about these two women thinks that Hillary is a lying, pandering, snake and that Palin is a woman that seems much more genuine. I've only talked to my mother about it and she's a democrat traditionally. Sure it's not very scientific but it's equally as scientific as your statement is.Purple For Life wrote:I don't see any woman worth her salt voting for her simply because she's a woman. That has some validity but there are surely a lot of women that were going for Clinton that are not big on the abortion issue or are at least conflicted with it that will be willing to give her a look. Now if they are hard core on the issue then I agree with you wholeheartedly.dbackjon wrote:Yes, but HRC women are not going to vote for an anti-choice woman.
