But the Wagner group was never used to kill 10,000+ Russian civilians.UNI88 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 2:54 pmSo your Swiss expert is saying that russians Igor Girkin (former FSB colonel) and Sergey Dubinskiy (former russian army general) weren't in Ukraine in 2014? The Hague District Court would disagree with him. Your Swiss expert's narrative is filled with holes.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 2:36 pm
You are uninformed and keep repeating an incorrect narrative.
The troops you speak of were Ukrainians that switched sides. They weren't interested in killing their families and friends over speaking Russian so they switched sides.
I already posted the link of the gentleman who was asked to rebuild the Ukrainian military in 2016. Do you even understand why he was needed? Because the Ukrainians couldn't get anyone to come to the war, so Ukraine had to resort to nationalist paramilitary groups. That's why we kept hearing about Nazis, because Ukraine filled it's version of the National Guard with paramilitary and placed them on the border with the Russian speaking population.
I'm not going to argue that there weren't/aren't fascists in Ukrainian army/militias but they were/are just as prevalent in the russian army/militias (see founder of the Wagner Group) so that argument is a red herring.
Anyway, the large majority of the Donbass military were Ukrainians switching sides. Was Russia helping where they could? Yes, but when the Chief of the SBU says he's only seen 56 Russian soldiers from the start, it makes you realize Russia was either really good at hiding the militias GF describes, or they were smart enough to keep their assistance to the border.
