Trump Selects Amy Coney Barrett for SCOTUS

If only all justices were so intelligent and poised. Obviously her integrity rises to a higher standard than many of those questioning hers. Applying the law equally to all seems to be her objective. Not sure why that’s a problem.

Hopefully. Dum bass libretards.

2020 General Election

I think you Trump people are grasping at straws with this Court packing thing. If I were Biden I'd just say "yes we'll consider that." There aren't a whole lot of people who are going to vote against Democrats because they're worried about increasing the size of the Supreme Court. It’s a ...

Most lame presidential challenger?

McGovern and Dukakis don’t qualify, but they were both extremely lame.

Biden edges out Mondale on your list.

Romney was extraordinary well qualified, but way too moderate to win.

Re: The Official "Making America Great Again" Thread

Unless Trump is doing something illegal the problem is the tax code, not his using it. Uncle Joe had 47 years to help make the tax code what it is. I’d rather blame those who made the code unjust not those who follow the law of the land. I’d hope that someone would fix it, but am not optimistic. Sen...

Re: Confederate hanging

I’d go with “no” even though I have a battle flag that wasn’t surrendered at home. Not appropriate at business.

I’d treat it as any other flag other than “Old Glory” or your state flag which should always be flown, imho.

If only the left had the diversity of thought to stop chanting slogans long enough to actually think critically they would realize that ACB has indeed achieved what their ideal for women has been.

The donks are going to attempt to smear a female, a Catholic, and a mother of 7 (2 adopted from Africa). Get ready for someone to come out with unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, 30+ year old allegations, where they can’t remember the where or when, that Barret tortured animals, abused children, chea...

Re: Trump Selects Amy Coney Barrett for SCOTUS

An outstanding nomination. Kudos to Trump. We’ll see if the Dims fall for their natural instinct to manufacture false accusations and innuendo or smarten up this time. Here’s hoping they go full looney and wake up conservative base and make point that there is more on ballot for conservatives than T...

If I’m not mistaken, Biden’s voting was rated one of the farthest left in the Senate when he was there.

Re: 2020 General Election

I agree with ending fear politics.

From my vantage point, I hear much more of it from the left than the right, although both sides indulge in the practice.

My guess is 72%from the left and 28% from the right.

The only way I see that white supremists are a creditable threat are if if rioters and looters are allowed to continue and extreme government crackdowns on law abiding citizens begin.

I count my blessings in living in the most open, least discriminatory society on the face of the earth. It is the society that allows for more success and prosperity than any other. The exception to this are those who use government support for their sole or primary financial support for more than s...

Cancel Culture has French Revolution feel to it with White Males being substituted for Aristocracy by those protesting. If this country had the issues that 18th century France had, then it would seem to be justified. That is not to say that we don't have issues, but that they are not comparable to t...

We tried that once before. It didn’t work out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk West Virginia would beg to differ. I was thinking of the effort a couple of years before without changing the name. It would be the ultimate irony if NOVA ended up with the name Virginia as they already refer to thems...

Yeah, give Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudon counties and the city of Alexandria to DC (all voted 55%-75% Clinton). Make DC a state. Would = 2 more donk senate seats. VA minus NOVA would make VA solid red again, would = 2 more conk senate seats. I would respect any decision by the rest...

It makes me wonder if Trip is still canvassing for the DNC. History and proven that the Donk Party was the party of the Confederacy, the party of the KKK, Jim Crow, etc. I probably won't canvas for or donate to the DNC this cycle as I don't support the (likely) national or Virginia candidates, alth...

Simple question, how can we atone for our past and move ahead if we erase it.

I’m in favor of paying each former slave $1MM in reparations.
