Looked full to me, the lower bowl was packed, could not see deck II b/c I'm a bit under deck II but from what I could see deck II was packed.
Hoping for some good picks, a plane was circling during the first half...

Are the ambulances at DE games for the football teams or the fans? DE should count the ambulance drivers and anybody they talk to in route to the hospital as in attendance.

Deleware should start counting anyone older than 78 (average age or close) as 1 fan plus a fractional fan. That may be the only way to keep your average attendane over 20,000

Re: Four JMU Players Arrested
I'm glad we have W&M to act on the behalf of all the rest of us as a moral standard. Geez, you should have seen W&M and UVA posters going at it on the Zone before last week's W&M/UVA game. They all but wanted to dig up TJ and fight over the bones and the right to claim all good and moral...

Truce griz...not sure how, but when in our stadium, the size difference between the east and west is not all that pronounced. Looking forward to hearing away fans comment on Bridgeforth after seeing Bridgeforth. Pictures just don't do it justice.

Re: Best FCS Stadium Now In Bozeman, MT?
SkyJell To answer your question, the renovation of the east side of JMU's stadium (Phase III) has not been approved by the board. One of two events gets phase III approved; 27,400 tickets consistently sold every game with additional demand to boot or a FBS offer/accept. As mentioned on this board nu...

Re: Best FCS Stadium Now In Bozeman, MT?
Several nice stadiums listed and we are all biased... Maybe pictures don't do justice in several cases here, I know in the case of JMU, pictures just don't capture the height/size... Under the new deck is sweet. I know we will hear lopsided jabs for a while, well worht it! Once the east side of the ...

Re: Official 2011 FCS Coaches "Hot Seat" Thread
MM is loved and on solid ground IMO but...by recently taking the heat off his AC after two 6-5 seasons by taking 2012 play calling responsibility on himself he has left himself exposed short of the 2012 playoffs and a good showing to boot... If he comes out with an unbalanced offense i.e. runs the d...

Re: Mountaineers working to peak again
Those are some big dlinemen ... I'm no defensive strategists but I'm guessing that in the 3-4 the D line's job is to stand up and tie up the O line so speedy linebackers have a straight shot at the ball?

Re: RTD: ODU Football starting to dominate Tidewater area?
A strong ODU is good for the CAA so as long as my Dukes put a game on the field I'm all for all other CAA teams building solid programs. How else are we going to attract large crowds to all CAA games?

LUnpretty - I was not referring to LU's stadium which was impressive the last time I was there in the pouring rain, I'm sure much better now with the renovation...the video board was very nice. Your facilities are far and above the average Big South facility... I'll be back soon. Sometimes I think L...

Re: Liberty gets a transfer CB from Georgia Tech
LUnpretty, you seem like a reasonable person, honest question here...why would a guy from Georgia with opportunities like this kid had choose to play football at Liberty? This is not a slight on Liberty...but a small town, not the greatest competition/facilities in the Big South and LU, by design, i...

Let's see here, JMU beat ACC Champ VT, beat #1 W&M running one play the entire game, lost to "super power" Deleware by a late FG in the last minute(s) if I remember correctly...all with what has been called a weak O-line two of which were freshmen...we now have two bigger/stronger soph...

Lopsided, I know I'm biased but in person the lopsided factor is not all that bad... I'm still in shock this has been pulled off, especially now, if the timeing had been 6-9 months later, who knows... I think we can sell it out a few times a year w/FCS programs...I hope game one sells out!!! then ho...

Griz fans should go to this no matter what they have to do to arrange, UT's stadium is straight up nuts on Saturday. There are not a lot of stadiums that can compare IMO
