Non-football related - Bruno Mars is one talented performer. The mashup with RHCP was forced and boring.

It's where he always wanted to be. It would be a good hire for them. He really had no chance at Tampa Bay.

He's actually been basically fired from the show - at least temporarily.

Re: Govt sells last of GM shares, taxpayers 10.5 billion los
I believe it was a set timeframe to avoid driving the market. They did the same thing with AIG stock. Being a huge shareholder but not trying to interrupt the private marketplace on the exit like they did on the entrance. Terrible investment strategy for the Gov't but i think a necessarily evil for...

Re: Govt sells last of GM shares, taxpayers 10.5 billion los
U.S. taxpayers no longer own any of automaker General Motors. The Treasury sold the last of its remaining 31.1 million GM shares today. Just curious. Why did the government sell the shares when they did? Why not wait another year and possibly reap the benefits of a higher price per share? Was there...

Re: Govt sells last of GM shares, taxpayers 10.5 billion los
How much of that is the government's fault versus the management of GM? Compare and contrast to AIG.....bailed out and completely rebuilt as a leaner more focused company. also turned a hefty profit for the taxpayers. Same government....different company leadership. One big glaring difference is th...

Re: Govt sells last of GM shares, taxpayers 10.5 billion los
I think what's more important is the long-term economic impact. Was keeping GM open worth the 10.5 billion invested? How much money will suppliers, dealers, workers, engineers, designers, businessmen, lawyers, auditors, and other people put back into the economy because they didn't lose their jobs?...

There are thousands upon thousands of private foundations that should be stripped of their tax-exempt status.
The IRS is entirely too inefficient to review them though.

Where have you been, 89? The gold medal IS the highest award in American Football. That's been so for guys since sometime before Y2K, and for women since 2010. There's even a junior level international gold medal. No. Someone having a gold medal in American Football means nothing compared to...

Re: Super Bowl - NY Style
People may complain all they want but that whole area would be an absolute nightmare if the amount of vehicles isn't drastically limited. Mass transit to the stadium is easy and cheap. Without these measures fans would have an even worse experience. So maybe they shouldn't have given them the SB? T...

Your opinion? He's a solid hire. He's gutting the staff so it will be interesting to see how long it takes the kids to get comfortable. New DC is reportedly Bob Benson (former G'Town head coach and now DC at Colorado School of Mines). New O-line coach is reportedly Jim Sweeney - long-time NFL guard...

I wouldn't be surprised if Albany pulls one out his week. We've been making improvements weekly. If we get any kind of consistent QB play we'll be in the game with a chance to win.
