State of Montana shut out

With the selection completed in the FCS, the state of Montana did not get a single team in the playoffs, either FCS or the NAIA. Hard to imagine with the Grizzlies seemingly to always be banging on the FCS playoff's door, and Montana Tech now (and Carroll College before) as a mainstay in the NAIA pl...

Re: Utah Owns Big Sky

Well done, WSU and SUU. Good luck in the playoffs. I've always enjoyed bantering with WSU fans. I like the Webers. Admittedly, I don't know any SUU fans other than a high school friend because their kid goes to school there. I saw many SUU fans were in attendance today on plutotv.com. Where are the...

Re: Big Sky Predictions - Week 12

Final weekend of the season so all questions will be answered. It is also rivalry week so, while we may think we know things, this weekend show that we don't know anything. What I know is I am 63-19 for the season with one more week to go. Here are my predictions. CP at UNC---The Mustangs head out t...

Big Sky Power Rankings 11-13

It all comes down to rivalry week. One more week to go in conference play and the Big Sky is still as wide open as ever. Ultimately, things will be decided on the field, who goes on and who goes home. Even when you don't have anything on paper to fight for, it is still good to beat your rival headin...

Re: Big Sky Predictions - Week 11

Happy Veterans Day to all those that have served. This week, the Big Sky serves up almost a full slate to honor the veterans, except for Idaho State, who drew the short straw and will sit out this weekend. Some excellent matchups this weekend before the rivalry week next week. Currently I sit at 58...

Re: Computer Picks

Remember on eGriz when the "sky is falling" crowd were all crowing about how great Barnum was because he had some success in his first year? WAFJ. That place is a complete shitstorm. He's turning into PSU's version of Dave Arnold: one great year, but the rest are garbage. Barnum does have...

Can I talk **** about plutoTV here again this week? I hope that company burns down and they all lose some money. **** any BSC streaming site. I can watch a high school game in HD with no issues but the minute anyone tries to watch any game from the BSC it is either no sound and decent video, sound ...

Re: Computer Picks

Not the defense I'm concerned with. After watching the North Dakota game with the dinky passes that were returned for touchdowns, and also Santiago's punt return, it seems like little things turn in to big things, and one minute we're down by 7, then the next minute we're down 24, and we all are wo...

Re: Computer Picks

Portland State's defense really breaks down and allows Weber to run all over them then maybe it could be a blowout. If Weber wins this game it'll most likely be by around 14-17 points or 7 if you go by my prediction :thumb: Not the defense I'm concerned with. After watching the North Dakota game wi...

Re: Big Sky Power Rankings 11-6

You can put MSU in the grouping with 9-11. They are done. I'd put UM ahead of NAU...seriously their 4th string QB beat NAU's 2nd string QB. But with that, SUU and Weebs are well ahead of everyone else at this point. UM & NAU are a distant 3&4 behind them. I actually had UM ahead of NAU Sund...

Big Sky Power Rankings 11-6

After all the playing and grinding, sweating and working, just two weeks are left for most members of the Big Sky (North Dakota is done with their season after this week, and Idaho State draws the short straw this week). Things have to be getting clearer now, right? Here are this week's power rankin...

Re: Big Sky Predictions - Week 10

Some 5-1 weeks and then a perfect 6-0 last week has got me to a respectful 53-16 for the year. Everyone plays this weekend, even Montana State who has a non-conference tilt with the Big South's leader, Kennesaw State. Some good games on tap this weekend. Here is my attempt at perfection again Kenne...

Don't know about Cal Poly, but Portland State has never had a season in which they won less than two games. That is probably going to end this season.

Big Sky Power Rankings 10-30

Are we getting a clear picture now of the Big Sky conference race? I certainly hope so, but one has to wonder, especially with EWU and Montana not exerting their dominance this late in the season. Instead the conference is stuck with the likes of NAU, Weber State and Southern Utah to carry the banne...

North Dakota @ Portland State- Sheesh who to pick in this one? Usually like to pick the home team in tossups, but Portland State has the worst home field advantage in the Big Sky. HAWKS - 31-27 I'm always there for Viking home games, even the ones in Hillsboro. That should count for something, at l...
