Well, it is an in-state game for JSU at least. I'm not sure why they need to use the Cramton Bowl, though, since JSU's own stadium has about the same capacity.

Northern Colorado dispatched Sam Houston State 99-80 thanks to Andre Spight's third 40+ point night of the season (he had exactly 40). They would've cracked triple digits, but Jordan Davis went for another one-handed thunder slam in the final minute & missed it. The Bears shot 59% from the...

The rules and fields are different in men's and women's lax, aren't they? Men's and women's college bball play with the same rules and same court AFAIK. Only real difference is the ball smaller for women. Well, that, and the fact the women play quarters now & have different foul/bonus rules. Th...

Re: March Madness 2018

FYI: UMBC isn't the first. FCS Harvard pulled this back in '98.... Women's basketball doesn't count. You can't compare apples and oranges. A #16 beating a #1 should be much less likely in WBB given the relative lack of parity. That lack of parity wasn't as pronounced 20 years ago as it is now, but ...

San Diego hit a buzzer-beating trey to beat Portland State 67-64. The Viks led by 9 at the half thanks to 33% shooting by the Toreros, but shot 33% themselves in the second period. 3/15 Games

Montana went down to Michigan as expected 61-47. The Griz led 10-0, but really struggled to get any offense going after that point.
