Re: Trump announces Brett Kavanaugh as his 2nd SCOTUS nominee.

I’m not sure where the win is here for either side. If Kavanaugh gets Borked, Trump is going to pick Barrett, and she’s a lot more onerous to the left than Kavanaugh ever could be If Trump doesn’t seat another justice, and Barrett winds up being his second nominee, this Kavanaugh thing is going to l...

What happens when you run a thoroughly unlikable Republican against a very likable Democrat for Senate in Texas?

You get a 3 point Republican win. Give or take 1 point. That's as close as the Donk is gonna get

Edit.... but now that Beto has Willie, maybe shave another point

The GOP has everything to lose here

But that said, I bet Senator Spartacus cries tears of faux rage as he tears into Kavanaugh and then Senator Huxtable will have to try to upstage him.... somehow

Trump announces Brett Kavanaugh as his 2nd SCOTUS nominee.

She can’t remember how many people were in the room, how many were in the house, etc., etc...she knows virtually NONE of the important details and her story has already changed. It's nothing more than an 11th hour Hail Mary attempt. She was a 15 year old kid drinking beer at a party, and doesn't re...

Re: Trump announces Brett Kavanaugh as his 2nd SCOTUS nominee.

Her story, what I know about it, has some very credible parts. When I was a cop, this was the kind of detail in a story that would have merited a more careful look. But ultimately there are just a couple things to consider here... This only ends in a pure he said - she said scenario. It will come do...

Feinstein mishandled this, and I have no doubt it was intentionally held until the 11th hour.

But that's politics

Either way, this needs to be looked at by the Judiciary Committee.
