Re: 2020 Democratic Primary

The Dems already had a shot at a guy like him His name was James Webb, and I would have voted for him But the Dem electorate rejected him He dropped out well before a vote was cast. :dunce: His candidacy lasted from July - October 2015. LOW ENERGY!!! SAD!!! I think he would be a good POTUS... but, ...

Re: Politics of Socialist Social Media

Pulitzer basically thinks his view is always the correct view of history, very large ego, from the History Channel shows I've seen him on. He claims Facebook and Twitter have limited his accounts because he started talking about the Palestinians and the martyr payouts.

No Green Bay, brrrrrrrrrr

Would be nice to see a change in Green Bay, but I'm not confident management would pay the price for Harbaugh.

Re: I-AA Game of the Week - REGULAR FINALE!

It's a rivalry game, UC Davis should win this one, but you never know. It's the Causeway Classic with a chunk of cement from the Yolo Causeway as the trophy. :king: When I want your opinion, I'll give it to you. You asked if there was a trophy, and thought it was Cal Poly vs Sac St, so I added some...

Re: How Many Big Sky Seeds?

If you are using bad losses for Maine, how come a bad loss doesn't matter for Weber St? Maine has a FBS win over a bad WKU team, and a win over Towson on the road. Both Weber St and EWU good wins were at home. William & Mary is 3-3 in the CAA, and not that bad of a loss. Plus Maine could end up...

Re: Playoff Field

They are just as worthy as other teams that are going to make the playoffs. They did beat a team that is going to be seeded, and gave NDSU a good game. We hear this argument made for UNI every year. At some point you either need to win enough games or stfu. :coffee: 6 wins is all that's required, t...

Re: Playoff Field

How is the committee going to treat the 3 MVFC teams that are 5-4 vs FCS UNI, WIU and ISUB. Possibly 2 could finish 6-4 against FCS competition. UNI doesn't deserve to be in the the playoffs. They are just as worthy as other teams that are going to make the playoffs. They did beat a team that is go...

Re: How Many Big Sky Seeds?

I'm more about wins over quality teams than losses... as long as there aren't several of them. Everyone is allowed to lay an egg once a year. Agreed. It depends on whether we're talking about what should happen or what we think the committee will do which is anyone's guess. EWU, Weber, and SDSU hav...

Re: How Many Big Sky Seeds?

NAU's only Big Sky wins were Weber St and 1-9 SUU. I'm more about wins over quality teams than losses... as long as there aren't several of them. Everyone is allowed to lay an egg once a year. Fair enough, the 8th seed is really close right now, IMO, Weber, JSU and Stony. This weekend may make a di...

Re: How Many Big Sky Seeds?

Weber is the only one to lose to a bad team. Wasn't the Weber win the second game for EWU's QB? NAU lost 40-8 to Missouri St. Ahh, the old transitive game. Southern Illinois > Missouri State > NAU > Weber > EWU > UCD... so we can expect the Salukis to be getting a seed or at least an at-large? It w...

Re: How Many Big Sky Seeds?

UCD's FBS Win, FBS Loss and loss to EWU vs WSU's FBS loss and loss to NAU So you give UCD credit for losing to EWU 59-20 but don't give credit to Weber for beating EWU? :suspicious: And 1-9 San Jose State is God awful. That's not an FBS win. Weber is the only one to lose to a bad team. Wasn't the W...

Re: How Many Big Sky Seeds?

Looking like the Big Sky will get 3 seeds now. I think only if JaxSt beats Kennesaw. I get that it will be hard to differentiate between three 9-2 Big Sky teams, but I still think two just based on others in line. UCD is the odd man out because Weber > EWU and EWU > UDC (badly). Locks NDSU SDSU Ken...

Re: Playoff Field

Yes. Why wouldn't they want Furman in the field? They used to be over 10k average attendance when they were regularly a playoff team in the 2000's. I still believe the committee does take into account who they want for marketing purposes. 6 win teams like Furman and ICW would fall behind 6 win UNI ...
