What did we learne?

NDSU is who we thought they were, after playing a creampuff schedule so far the Bizon beat a good-looking Montana team. Looks like the Valley title still goes through Fargo. We Also learned the MVFC >Bigsky, and that EWU doesn’t need to play defense, question is when they run into a team that DOES, what happens? We also learned boys and girls moving to the sun belt yes it gets you 20 extra scholarships, but you have to play on Thursday to be on National TV. This week we will learn about JMU and Deleware, WIU and SIU, UND and Montana State-especially if they can rebound from the heartbreaker against EWU. Have a good weekend

Week 3

Alright, now that the majority of us are done with our annual beat downs of the FBS its time for the real season to start. Montana vs. NDSU EWU vs Montana State UNI vs NoCo JMU vs Nova UNH vs Richmond Wofford GWU going to learn a lot about several teams around FCS this weekend.

Week 2

So this year is shaping up to be, well interesting I don’t see any clear cut team that is head and shoulders above the rest. Yes NDSU has continued their winning ways but didn’t quite dominate a Weber State team like they might have in the past. yes they beat Iowa State, but that team would probably finish lower half of the valley. The Montana NDSU matchup should be fun in a couple of weeks. Not much today folks heading out to the race in Chicago, sorry for being flaky. BTW with this weather wish I was in HAwaii with my Panthers.

Week 1

Alright, boys and girls Week 1 is done and in the books.
We learned a few things, EWU is as good as we thought, NDSU made FBS ISU look silly, UNI looked good against a decent Iowa team, Deleware looked terrible against a mediocre Pitt team, Youngstown held their own against an unknown Illinois team(till the 4th quarter) Montana held serve against a new look Wyoming, and drake is terrible, again, and villanova looks pretty good(though are they FCS anymore?)

UNI-will they finally win a title?
Who wins the colonial?

Only a few short months.

Spring Football

Ahh that magically time of the year when everyone has a legit shot at the national title and everyone thinks they are a pre-season Walter Peyton award finalist because they can beat the freshman pre-enrollees at half-speed in no pads. SPRING FOOTBALL is here which means after its long absence football talk can begin in earnest(or pick up in our case) It is always great to watch the games at the end of spring football knowing that those freshman will one day be our starters, weather that is good or bad for you welcome back spring, and spring football.

Offseason

So the blog went on hibernation, well not for lack of choice, I have been in the field and have had to use the mobile and haven’t had access to a legit computer and didn’t remember how to get to the posting site. That being said the silly season is in full spring with random offing’s of people followed by their sudden re-incarnation. The Olympics happened, America has to keep that joke beiber because the hockey teams took it in the shorts from Team Canada. Then three days later Russia is all up in the Ukraine’s business(weather justifiable or not leave that on the politics board) and we have a situation that puts the us in between a rock and a hard place. yeah welcome to the sillyseason folks. Hopefully it stops snowing and then we can start spring.

FINALS

Merry Christmas ya filthy animals, quick one before I take off for the Christmas week. Our Championship is set, on one side we have the juggernaut that is the Bizon of NDSU. On the other the underdogs of Towson, who traveled across the country to take out the BSC champ Eastern Washington. Should be a good one will the Bizon three-peat or will Towson spoil Bohls’ going away party?

The Blog went 2-0 last week bringing a predict record to 15-6 or a 71 percent pick rate. Not to shabby.

The blog has picked NDSU every week of the playoffs and we are riding this train down the line, NDSU 35-Towson-27. Merry Christmas!
