Another note on this game is that Appy St. is going to be playing at one of the hardest places to play at in FCS with Washington-Grizzly Stadium. The crowd plays a large roll with the playcalls and can create a great distraction for the home team. For Appy to get past this they will most likely utilize there no huddle offense and call plays at the line in order to prevent the Griz defense from having time for the substitutions that they use frequently. Either way this game will be a hard fought game and i look forward to seeing the outcome.

GO GRIZ!!!

Well, although i do agree with Montana Mark when he says that the Great Bears of U of M will have a turkey shoot, many things have to happen for that to take place. First the Griz have to take on the other power of the FCS in App. St. This will be no walk in the park, and here is my keys to winning for either side of the field.

Keys for Montana:
- Marc Mariani!!!!!!!!
- No Turnovers.
- Chase Reynolds

If the griz limit there turnovers, i.e. do not do what they did in Idaho, and create the opportunities on the defensive side that allow the offense to prosper, then the Griz shouldn't lose. Marc Mariani is one of the best receivers/returners in FCS so people should give him a little more respect, I don't believe kicking directly to him is the best way of preventing a blowout. No i'm not saying it will be a blowout, but if you let this Griz offense get rolling, it is really hard to slow it down. Keys on defense is to keep Edwards under control. They can not let him catch fire, and if he does they need to get quick turnovers and quick points to slow him down.

Keys for Appy:
- Edwards!!!!

Really they have one amazing strength. Granted they have other key players that play strong rolls in their offense, they really all key off of the big bad boy named Armani Edwards. If Appy can limit there turnovers and keep the ball out of Selle's and Mariani's hands, they have the game in hand. They need to watch out for the guy named Reynolds though because he can hurt you just as easy as Mariani, although it is not quite as exciting, it gets the job done.

Forecast: Montana wins the game by 14 points due to points off of turnovers.

Montana 38
Appy St. 24

Negative!! I just watched the first 3 quarters of W&M vs NOVA. neither team would hold up to the Griz, I can't talk for Appy but if the Griz win tomorrow they will have a Turkey shoot at Chatanooga!

Your picks are so-so. However, you nailed the Griz to a T. If they are motivated they will win the Championship. If they are playing lackluster they may pull it out but probably not.
The Championship will be decided Dec. 12th in Missoula not Chat.

Oh I'm not counting anyone out, guess I'm just being a homer. :) The games this weekend should be the best football we've seen this year!

Just because I predicted they'd lose doesn't mean I'm counting them out. I said the games were toss-ups.

Why are you so quick to count out the #1 team in the country or a New Hampshire team that lit up the scoreboard and has already beaten Villanova once? :)

I wouldn't count W&M out so quickly or Villanova. I believe W&M has the perfect matchup to pull off a close win this weekend - great running team plays top running D! should be a great one.
