Northern Iowa's near loss to Iowa is more impressive than William & Mary's win over Virginia or Villanova's win over Temple. If they want to play equivalent games, have them take on Virginia Tech and Penn State respectively. Unfortunately, Northern Iowa won't have the opportunity to play a Top 5 FCS team unless fate move's Southern Illinois into that category before October 17.

Your method of choosing your top 25 is at least consistent, but you can only have quality wins if you have quality opponents on the schedule. As we all know, getting quality opponents when you're an FCS powerhouse is difficult to do. Richmond is impressive--hugely impressive. Northern Iowa is MORE impressive.
